TV Show: Forensic Files 

Location: Philadelphia 

Date: 1996

What happened: A restaurant owner was found murdered in his office, then his assistant chef committed suicide.

What evidence was collected: A bullet shell casing, a bullet found across the street from the inn, a Barretta model 20, gun holster, witness statements of a second gun.

What did the evidence show (testing results): the bullet from the trash was compared to the first bullet shell casing and they was identified as the same bullet manufactured by the same company. It took them 2 years to collect more evidence but one officer thought to check the gun holster to see if it left an impression of another gun. It just so happen to prove his theory and thats when forensic scientist concluded that the murder did have a second gun that he lied about. That gun was proved to also be the murder weapon of course and he was arrested.

What was the conclusion of the case? Guy Selaeo  was charged with first degree murder. They believed the his motive was financial. 5 years after the death he was trialed and sentence to life in prison.

TV Show: Forensic files: C2: Episode 14

Location: Newman Lake, Washington

Date: 2.9.1999

What happened: A house was set on fire after someone kidnapped a boy from the house leaving the body to be found 15 miles from where it happened a few days later.

What evidence was collected: Evidence that the boy was strangled, before and after photos of the fire, vomit samples, 3 files of life support worth 80,000 dollars, one of his trash cans

What did the evidence show (testing results):The vomit samples showed starch and corn contents whic is in cereal. Th little boy was eating cereal at befor he died. THe was evidence where the fire started which was in the couch. Forensic scientist took an identicaal couch to test how it will react and to see how long it will burn. The dad said he left the house at 8:20, Chris usually leaves at 8:30 for school, the couch took ten minutes or less to produce enough enerhy to burn the room. Forensic scientist traced all the evidence back to the father since most was found on his car, truck and two trash cans he own.

What was the conclusion of the case? The father was charged with arson and murder in the first degree. Before he could go on trail he hanged himself in his jail cell.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

What happened: Neighbor seen a Man name Scott kill his wife and dumped her into the pool. 

What evidence was collected: 44 stab wounds, water in her lung, knife, his bloody clothes, eyewitness, Scott sleep walks

What did the evidence show (testing results): test showed he he had some type of waves related to sleep walking after holding him in a sleep research center for 4 nights. Scientist say he went to sleep with a task on mind picked up a knife to use as a cutting tool and his wife startled him causing him to have a reflex and stab her. BUT ANOTHER RESEARCHER NOTED THAT PEOPLE SLEEP WALKING CANT DISTINGUISH NIGHT FROM DAY, SCOT PICKED UP A FLASH LIGHT AND PUT ON A SWEAT SHIRT MEANING HE KNEW IT WAS COLD AND KNEW IT WAS DARK. 

What was the conclusion of the case? The case was up to the jury to decide based off the evidence. it could have been a 50/50 chance all together but with reasonable logic that was also proven as fact in the case the jury ruled Scott to be guilty of murder in the first degree.

What happened: A man named Ron went missing and his skull was found a month later somewhere in the mountains

What evidence was collected: A chain that said Ron, his skull, a pit where Ron was cremated, clues in his will, blood drop samples and a whole lot more stuff. Like receipts, a scuba diver found a gun, even a pizza boy helped officers solve the case( it gave the officers a disguise) 

What did the evidence show (testing results):The gun was identified as the murder weapon after test shots, and the blood samples linked up to him

What was the conclusion of the case? Ron's fifth wife, Margret, killed him and of course she was charged with murder.

TV Show: Forensic Files Collection 2 Episode 6

Location: Austin, Texas

Date: 1998

What happened:3 women disappeared w/o saying anything 

What evidence was collected: Tooth, Hair, Evidence of a struggle, blood on ring, blood in car, blood in carpet, no fingerprints, photo of unknown man name Martin, found key to Olivia's home, body remains a block away from Martin's house(It was alot of evidence but not just from the crime scene it's self. It was alot of searching involved)

What did the evidence show (testing results):body remains revealed Martin"s wife, the key mad it known he was the last one at Olivia's house. 

What was the conclusion of the case? Martin Gonzalez was charged with all three murders of his wife, Olivia and Maria Flores. They say he killed them out of anger after being rejected(In September 2000, he was sentenced life in prison due to 3 1st degree murders.
