What happened: A restaurant owner was found murdered in his office, then his assistant chef committed suicide.
What evidence was collected: A bullet shell casing, a bullet found across the street from the inn, a Barretta model 20, gun holster, witness statements of a second gun.
What did the evidence show (testing results): the bullet from the trash was compared to the first bullet shell casing and they was identified as the same bullet manufactured by the same company. It took them 2 years to collect more evidence but one officer thought to check the gun holster to see if it left an impression of another gun. It just so happen to prove his theory and thats when forensic scientist concluded that the murder did have a second gun that he lied about. That gun was proved to also be the murder weapon of course and he was arrested.
What was the conclusion of the case? Guy Selaeo was charged with first degree murder. They believed the his motive was financial. 5 years after the death he was trialed and sentence to life in prison.
